Established Tokyo Eizai Laboratory Co., Ltd. and transferred operations from the limited liability company

Entered the skin care sector with "Karaya Disk", Japan's first skin protection agent

Established the Happy Life Club for direct sale of stoma products and to provide advice about medical matters

Launched Happy Life Club News, an informative magazine to help ostomates to return to normal daily life

Relocated production to Chiba Factory in Hanamigawa-ku, Chiba
