A large variety of lumbago belts are available
to match
specific symptoms. Wearing the lumber fixation
belt
increases the abdominal pressure, reduces the
pressure on the spinal column and intervertebral
disks
and improves the symptoms. Consult
with
your doctor about its appropriate application
and duration
of use.
Anti-inflammatory
analgesics
A large variety of drugs to
control inflammation and pain in the lumbar part are
available, depending on symptoms. (Medicines for internal
use, plasters, ointments)
Physical
therapy
Hot
pack
For of chronic backache, warm the affected site to improve blood flow and muscle
tone, and reduce pain. In the acute phase (immediately after an episode of backache),
calm any inflammation with a cold pack.
Pelvic
traction
The patient lies on their back in bed and the upper body is anchored so that
traction can be performed by pulling the belt set around the pelvis. Muscle tension
can be eliminated by traction but bed rest is necessary after treatment.
Electrical therapy
Application of electric stimulation softens stiff muscles, and induction
of slight vibration deep in the muscles serves as massage therapy or thermotherapy.
